Spindle vs Zenhaven: What to Compare

Both belong in the premium latex conversation, but construction, firmness mechanism, policies and feel should be compared at the model level.

Start with construction

Both belong in the premium latex conversation, but construction, firmness mechanism, policies and feel should be compared at the model level.

Do not assume two “latex mattresses” are equivalent. Check whether the exact model is all-latex or hybrid, how many layers it uses, whether layers are removable or reversible, and what the cover/fire barrier contains.

Compare firmness mechanisms

Spindle's current all-latex design lets owners rearrange separate latex layers. For the competing model, verify the current firmness system directly with the manufacturer because product lines and configurations can change.

Compare certification language carefully

Look for the scope of each claim: latex foam, cotton, wool, individual components, or finished product. Spindle explicitly states that its materials carry certifications while the finished mattress itself does not carry GOTS/GOLS finished-product certification.

Then compare policies

Trial procedures, return handling, support requirements, warranty definitions and delivery terms can change. Use the manufacturers' current terms as the source of truth.
